Recent Changes to Lifeline Medical Alert


The Lifeline Medical Alert Service is still available in our community. Lifeline has been managed by an outside answering service for many years. In the past, NORTHSTAR Homecare department's role was to install the units in the home and also provide serving of the units.

On August 27, 2012, the Phillips Electronics company agreed to take over the installation and servicing of the units and provide a service attendant in the area. Philips now also provides the call center for the alert service.
